Their core responsibilities include:

  • Processing Personnel Actions They ensure smooth and accurate implementation of all Requests for Personnel Actions using the Enterprise Employee Resource Planning (EERP) System.

  • Managing Employee Benefits The team oversees the proper entry and maintenance of employee benefits in the EERP System, ensuring no detail is overlooked.

  • Providing Employee Services From employment verifications and service computation to leave adjustments and eligibility reviews, they deliver vital services that keep the workforce informed and supported.

  • Handling Leave Programs This includes managing Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) cases and Sick Leave Bank benefits to support employees during times of personal need or crisis.

  • Maintaining Employee Records The EER team secures and organizes both active and inactive personnel records, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility.

  • Ensuring Legal Compliance They provide expert guidance to departments and agencies to help maintain compliance with local regulations and federal employment laws.

  • Supporting Disciplinary Procedures EER reviews and advises on Notices of Proposed Adverse Actions and Disciplinary Actions, fostering transparency and fairness across the public sector.
